File Size Has Changed Dramatically!![edit]

As the article states, this program used to be very small when downloading the executable file. It has ballooned to over 30 MB in size since then. This information needs to be corrected on the main page. I will attempt but if someone retracts or changes my addition, please notice this message here. - — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.142.97.187 (talk)

We need to cite a reference to change that! - Ahunt (talk) 18:08, 17 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I installed doPDF on 24-11-2015 and it had a size of 270MB. My reference https://twitter.com/kneistonie/status/669591495251468292 77.172.33.83 (talk) 23:29, 26 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There is a big difference between the download size and the installed size. Apples and oranges. We can't use self-posted stuff on Twitter as a ref. - Ahunt (talk) 23:47, 26 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I know the difference. But your remark misses the entire point of bloating software, mentioned above. From 30 to 270 MB. Not enough? 77.172.33.83 (talk) 10:18, 27 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

As per http://www.dopdf.com/download.php the download size is 51.4 MB for 8.5.937. While the installed size will be larger, that is not what we are talking about here. - Ahunt (talk) 12:52, 27 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
