Taxonomic anomaly
[edit]I have seen Druentia elsewhere listed as a genus in the Eurybrachyidae, but it now seems to me that the entry either was vandalistic or an item of confusion. If anyone can shed some substantial light on the matter, please feel welcome. JonRichfield (talk) 15:59, 30 July 2014 (UTC)
- GBIF is good for this kind of thing (i.e, digging up some information on obscure names that may be homonyms), although it's not so good for authoritative taxonomy. See this search; the moth genus is apparently a junior homonym of the scale insect, and was replaced by Druentica Plantdrew (talk) 17:17, 17 August 2014 (UTC)
