Toponymy[edit]

@Cjad13: Drumlithie's name probably does incorporate a word meaning "ridge", but we cannot state this as fact without a reliable source saying so. The Ordnance Survey page you cited is a general resource which does not address Drumlithie specifically, and Mearns.org is self-published, meaning that its claims cannot be treated as gospel – especially when it comes to a specialist subject like toponymy.
