Inconsistent use of LGBT/LGBTQ/LGBTQI
I am going to revert them all to just LGBT for now unless they are part of a proper noun or otherwise unchangable. This is the name wikipedia seems to prefer (LGBTQI for example redirects to LGBT). If anyone objects, perhaps some discussion of this should take place on the LGBT wikiproject, to determine which is the most appropriate version to use. Jacobitten (talk) 15:04, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
Needs a complete overhaul
Article reads like a strident official history. Nonsense like "exercising the First Amendment right to gather without permits" doesn't help. EEng 19:00, 3 July 2017 (UTC)
More on the Chicago Dyke March
I don't have the time, but this may be useful - http://www.haaretz.com/us-news/.premium-1.801364 No More Mr Nice Guy (talk) 20:09, 16 July 2017 (UTC)
Article Needs Renaming?
Saw a reference to this article and figured it was a redirect. To my surprised there really is a dyke article. Given dyke is on par with faggot (sp?) shouldn't it be retitled and re-written to something that actually isn't deemed offensive? 人族 (talk) 11:42, 17 July 2017 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is not censored. It actually is, confirmed by reliable sources, called a "Dyke March", and we should not (and likely will not) change it because it's offensive. SkyWarrior 19:43, 18 July 2017 (UTC)
