I think "time" should be replaced or removed, and only "steps" kept. Being time-relative is problem specific. Dynamic Bayesian Networks model a sequencial network, hence step-wise. This does not have to do particularly with time. For instance, in genetics (bioinformatics), a protein sequence can be modeled with DBN. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.137.168.20 (talk) 18:34, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hidden Markov Models are mentioned as "competition", however are HMM's not a special case of a DBN? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.229.133.163 (talk) 14:49, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

[5] contains a link to what appears to be an unauthorized copy of the Russell and Norvig textbook. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.80.95.230 (talk) 13:00, 7 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
