EC Harris is an international a global natural built asset and design consultancy firm headquartered in the United Kingdom[2]. It is a key part of Arcadis NV, following the companies' merger in 2011. It is an ARCADIS company, a network of 28,000 professionals, generating approximately €3 billion in annual revenue. [3]

EC Harris has developed large-scale construction complexes in Qatar,Dubai, Egypt, andthe UAE, Oman and Saudi Arabia, establishing a presence in the Middle East in the year 2000 after a five decade long absence from the region. They currently have 250over 450 people employees between their Dubaiand, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Muscat, Al Khobar and Jeddah offices. [5], as well as offices in Doha, Qatar and Dammam, Saudi Arabia.[11] Projects in the region include the Al Wahda Sports Club's Grand Millennium Al Wahda Hotel, Abu Dhabi's largest hotel complex.[12],Kingdom Tower in Jeddah[6], the 25,000 seat Hazza Bin Zayed stadium in Al Ain[7], the Middle East's largest healthcare facility - Hamad Medical City in Doha[8] and Doha Festival City's Ikea store[9] In 2007 the firm was awarded the management contract for over £19 billion in construction contracts by the government of Dubai and[13] and a £10 billion beach residential and commercial area construction contract by the government of Abu Dhabi.[14] EC Harris issues investment reports on other regions of Asia as well for the wider Middle East[15] and nations including China.[16]
