Fixed link to "Works (Pink Floyd album)" towards end in "Alternative and Live versions" section.

Works[edit]

Sorry if this seems like a forum commentary, but is the orchestal Ticket to Ride heard in the "Works" mix of the song? For me, not, but I can't find a reference. Anyway, is this relevant? 69.123.83.27 01:59, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Last words[edit]

IIRC, wasn't the full quote 'There is no dark side of the moon, really. Matter of fact it's all dark. The only thing that makes the moon light is the sun.' or something similar was but it was edited for effect. Also I don't think it was Paul McCartney that said it (I think it was a doorman or someone), which was the impression that I got from the article. John Wormell (talk) 05:57, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Yes, the full quote is: 'There is no dark side of the moon, really. Matter of fact it's all dark. The only thing that makes it look light is the sun.' They play the full clip in the "Making of 'The Dark Side of the Moon'" DVD. I've edited it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bigchiefbc (talkcontribs) 12:45, 31 March 2010 (UTC)

oppose redirect[edit]

This is one of the most assinine redirects I've seen here. The other articles were bad enough. This article is clearly not a stub. It is well sourced, with extensive information about the song.Mk5384 (talk) 06:08, 3 June 2010 (UTC)

I totally agree - the composition coverage is outstanding and can only lie here, not in any other article. There's a bit of OR but not enough to warrant a redirect. FMasic (talk) 14:49, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Eclipse (Pink Floyd song)Eclipse (song) – No other songs at all, and this one would most certainly even be the most notable one. --The Evil IP address (talk) 13:08, 10 August 2012 (UTC)

Support per Evil. (Posted via phone) yeepsi (Time for a chat?) 14:18, 10 August 2012 (UTC)
  • Comment the disambiguation page lists 3 more songs, which are part of their album articles. -- 70.24.247.242 (talk) 04:06, 11 August 2012 (UTC)
  • Support as this is the only song article for that title - the hatnote will still be needed because of the album tracks on the dab page. Interplanet Janet, Esquire IANAL 12:33, 11 August 2012 (UTC)
  • Support The current title has unnecessary disambiguation; we won't even need to reformat the hatnote (although we could refine it). --BDD (talk) 17:48, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
