Term def

[edit]

The term Ecological Relationship is more specific than "relationships", which could be inferred to mean every single relationship should be listed. Think outside the box 16:10, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

THE ECOLOGICAL RELATIONSHIPS ARE RELATIONS BETWEEN ANIMALS WITHIN THE FOOD WEB —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.253.116.187 (talk) 06:46, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This may be better redirected to Ecology, and included as a subtopic. Then it will get linked into it's contexts. Obviously climate interacts with living ecology, but I would never classify ecology under meteorology. A nature of living entity must be involved in a relationship for it to be considered ecological. The interaction of soap and water is not considered an ecological relationship. The relationship of a plant to a certain soil type, or fire regime, may be. Statements here deserve some research to clarify what is a disciplinary term for the rest of us. —Preceding unsigned comment added by BrianAsh (talkcontribs) 06:14, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If we wish to take any significant step ahead in understanding DNA, micro-organisms and whole life it self, we must be able to admit that human individual, as well as any other living thing, is first and foremost an ecosystem. Just like a pond. Think about that, wishes: Vesa Pulkkinen — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.251.148.247 (talk) 21:07, 8 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
