I'll give the section, that I once inserted into the article and later got removed.

Growth figures for 2008-2009

From article:

"However, the GDP of Estonia decreased by 1.4% in the 2nd quarter of 2008, over 3% in the 3rd quarter of 2008, and over 9% in the 4rd quarter of 2008. The Estonian economy further contracted by 15.1% in the first quarter of 2009.[8][9]"

First of all, I cannot find the 9% figure in the linked articles, nor the 3% figure.

Second, the article says that the economy "further contracted by 15.1%", as if the economy fell with 15,1% in addition to the 1.4% + 3% + 9%, to a total of 28.5% . At least the 15,1 % figure is on a year-on-year basis. That is, it compares the first quater of 2009, not with the last quater of 2008, but to the first quater of 2008. Thus, it did not fall in addition to the 2nd-4th quater of 2008, as these figures are already in the year-on-year number. Right. Unfortunately, it's rather common in Estonian business reporting, but both inflation, cost of living and economic growth numbers, "%" is often used reported monthly or quartedly but used to mean not *relative* change but *speed* of change, with the real unit being %/a. Removed dubious source

Removed this:

Estonia's 1990 GDP per capita was $10,733 compared to $26,100 for Finland.

— as this must be some kind of a comma mistake, given, that Estonia's GDP per capita was at least 100 times lower. -Mardus /talk
