I am wishing to set the standard of each of these articals with this one, except from the plot summary I am pleased with this and feel it has much the other articals don't. Any comments?--Wiggstar69 23:38, 12 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Per WP:FICT this will be redirected as it is. The plot synopsis is about the right length and can be incorporated into an LOE page. The rest of the article consists of trivia (calling trivia "Outside Continuity" doesn't make it any less trivial). Bottom line: there is no notability asserted, and as result, this will be on the LOE page per our guidelines. Wiggstar, some advice: do not waste your time on material that is inherently unnotable. Your efforts are MUCH better served at Wikia where notability , etc... do not apply. Eusebeus 16:59, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have already told I really dont wish to add to 'wika' this is a choice I have made, not one you can make for me. You are not giving these pages a chance, I have made good changes, although whatever I do you will still tell me its not good enough, this artical is to the same level as any on this page List of Doctor Who serials, this page has become notable through the new sections added, and this information would be lost through transfering it to the list of episodes page.--Wiggstar69 18:22, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Simply saying it again doesn't make it so. Please read closely WP:N, WP:NOT, WP:FICT and WP:EPISODES. It is abundantly clear that this is not notable and will hence be redirected. I understand if you don't wish to transwiki the content, but the fact remains that this is content that belongs there, not here. Eusebeus 18:38, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What I want you to explain is how the episodes on List of Doctor Who serials which are put together in the exactly same way are praised yet these are shuned, I do not wish you to refere me to rules I have read and re-read and checked over and used to help me build my articals. You have refrained from giving me an answer, should I asume that you believe the episode is not notible "just because it isn't".--Wiggstar69 21:31, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hey wiggstar, don't wig out, and why do you keep referring to articals? Why not artikals or even Artikel, which would at least be a correct spelling in German. Anyway, you are quite right about the Dr Who episode articles. Many of them need to be sorely - SORELY - redacted in order to conform to our standards since they tend to contain excessive trivia, plot synopses and in-universe information. Quite a number of them should probably be just redirects. I suspect that a wholesale review of the articles of that series, as with other series, will be underway. See WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS for a reason why the existence of policy-violating articles should not be used to justify further efforts along similar lines. Eusebeus 23:07, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
