I would normally agree. However, the previous redirect was edit warred by IPs and the redirect was discussed at AfD for the main page. The decision made to delete the page, not allow a redirect. --CNMall41 (talk) 22:47, 10 October 2024 (UTC)

AfD 1 closed as redirect so I don't think this is out of process (as AfD 2 closer). I do think the redirect, if retained, should be protected. I have declined the speedy since it was an article that was deleted, not a redirect. I have no objection to RfD. Star Mississippi 01:06, 11 October 2024 (UTC)

If you are willing to protect the page I would appreciate it. I guess I feel there is no sense in arguing redirects in deletion discussions otherwise. We wound up at the AfD because of IPs removing the redirect so protection would be a good idea. --CNMall41 (talk) 05:57, 11 October 2024 (UTC)

@TarnishedPath@CNMall41 @Sirfurboy I think this is the best path forward. ECP so that should circumstances change established editors including yourselves can revisit it.
