Why are you labbeling songs and albums by paramore as "alternative rock"

these guys are more of a straight up rock band. alternative rock is jimmy eat world snow patrol muse or SDRE etc.

and alternative rock is not on their front wikipedia page. lets stick to using genres that ARE

Alternative Rock is a subcategory of rock, just like Metal is to Heavy Metal. Paramore has recently been credited for being an Emo band also. It all depends on the nature of the song and it's lyrics. --Thegreene2010 (talk) 19:53, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
