Other films at the Exeter
[edit]My mother took me to see The Endless Summer here, circa 1966-1968. She and my father also took me to see The Battle of Algiers, possibly also at the Exeter. Acwilson9 (talk) 00:44, 30 April 2019 (UTC)
"Beatrix Potter" played at the Exeter Street Theatre in the early 1970s. My nephew and I viewed it there, unaware of the rich history of this iconic Boston venue. For decades, it was a permanent fixture of Bostonian culture. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 119.247.98.244 (talk) 05:39, 29 July 2020 (UTC)
History
[edit]I recollect that, in the 1960s, my parents told me that the Exeter was still owned and operated by the local Spiritualist Church, who held their services in the theater's basement, and who were friends and co-religionists of my fathers' British father.
