OR and POV issues

[edit]

OR: I couldn't find a source that refers to this "event" as an expedition or sariyyah.

OR and POV: The lede states: "to attack the civilians of Jurash". This is not found anywhere, and I'm assuming Misconceptions2 made it up, much like his misrepresentation of the sources in Demolition of Masjid al-Dirar.

The source said they attacked the people of Jurash, people=civillains . it even mentions that the city was besieged. or do you disagree?--Misconceptions2 (talk) 00:15, 27 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
See WP:OR and I think I've seen enough sensationalism from your edits that I might raise the concern on Wikipedia:WikiProject Islam so that knowledgeable editors review all these expedition articles you started.
I don't see why the OR tag was removed when a source that refers to this incident as a sariyyah has not been provided yet, in fact the article relies heavily on primary sources and a 19th-century scholar. Al-Andalusi (talk) 02:33, 27 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, i have added more secondary sources, also if you disagree with the title, please change it to a more suitable one that has more backing, as i have followed consistency in calling all my articles "Expedition of X", where "X" is the name of the person. second, this is what you wanted, you complained to me about the names before and told me you wanted it in that format!!!! now what your saying is hypocrisy. Third what do you think is a more suitable name "Attack on the people of Jurash" or maybe "Expedition of Jurash" ??? --Misconceptions2 (talk) 12:58, 27 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oh yeh, and William Muir calls this the Submission of Banu Azd and Jurash here , would you like me to rename the article, "Submission of Jurash" , but that title suggest they were forced to submit, would you support changing the title to that?--Misconceptions2 (talk) 13:03, 27 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
