[edit]this articles creature is not true. Popa carlbergi does not exist. the spiny leaf insect changes form on a tree with lichen present not on pipturous.
- Extatosoma popa carlbergi exists[1]. However, I have wiped out all the unsourced content and used only what could be supported by the reliable source. The dubious description was written by a blocked user, and seemed to have written about another taxon rather than the corresponding [Extatosoma popa carlbergi] subject.
