Updates[edit]

I have made a number of updates to this article.

This article has merit in that F9 has become a defacto standard in adhoc accounting reporting. It is also available for or with most of the small and medium enterprise accounting systems in the world and is arguably one of the most popular.

Also, F9, although briefly, corroborates the history of 1-2-3 and Excel.

F9 itself was one of the first reporting systems that utilized natural language interface and it is still in use by tens of thousands of users. (I admit I am the person that designed and programmed the NL interface - but it is a good design).TW Burger (talk) 06:59, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

F9 became an important part of Synex Systems after SQZ! was developed and sold through Symantec. SQZ! was marketed through the Turner Hall Publishing division formed a major part of the cash flow base that allowed Symantec to grow through acquisitions to become the Anti-virus giant it is today.TW Burger (talk) 23:21, 31 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Article rewrite[edit]

I removed some unsources/trivial/ad-like parts, so the page now looks more like an article in encyclopedia than a sales brochure. I will try to add reliable sources for CN tagged paragraphs. Pavlor (talk) 06:41, 4 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
