Diagrams

[edit]

Here is a visualization of FIRE economy. (See "Economy #2 - FIRE".)

Likewise, a series of 3 diagram illustrations (particularly illustration 12) apparently-by Nigel Holmes can be found within the May 2006 Harper's magazine, titled the new road to serfdom An illustrated guide to the coming real estate collapse by Michael Hudson.

It would help to include one of these diagrams. I may make a similar one but the old MetaDesign tool I use exports WMF and not SVG.

Reorganise material

[edit]

FIRE economy seems to describe an economy in which the FIRE aspect is too large. Should this material be moved under FIRE sector? --FrederickNoelChase (talk) 13:35, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

More about subsidies

[edit]

More specifics on the massive tax, regulatory and monetary subsidies now (selectively) conferred upon the FIRE industies would be helpful -- as would consideration of the social gains (or losses) expected upon redistributing those existing subsidies to more productive uses. 4.241.6.42 (talk) 14:54, 20 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
