Multiple issues?

[edit]

Someone added some issue tags to this page 7+ years ago. And then someone added a whole bunch more a couple months ago. There's no discussion on the talk page, link to a WikiProject, or anything else.

And those issues seem to be holding this one episode to a much higher standard than all of the other Outer Limits episodes, and to the episodes of almost any other TV show I look up. Many other episode articles have information that raises more issues--"Analysis" or "Theme" sections, mentions of (implied-intentional) references to other episodes, behind-the-scenes info, etc. without a secondary source are pretty dubious. But a show template with little more than the episode number, involved personnel, and brief synopsis of the plot seems a lot less problematic.

I realize that just because every other episode article is wrong doesn't mean this one should be wrong too. But if they're all wrong, I don't see the benefits in drive-by tagging one random episode article in a way that doesn't encourage any followup or discussion. If the primary-source tag doesn't seem to have had any effect in the past 7 years, why would adding citation-needed tags on top of that have any effect? --50.0.128.185 (talk) 21:44, 12 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
