Page title[edit]

Hi @Wbm1058. I saw that you moved this page from False Alarm (disambiguation). I propose moving this page to false alarm (disambiguation) instead, as there exists the page false alarm which is the primary topic and so I thought the the page shoudk be located at the corresponding disambig and the page title for the disambig should in sentence case as per MOS:AT. This page was anyway located there until somone moved it to False Alarm (disambiguation) back in 2016. I would have been bold and moved it myself but I saw that you had just moved it today and I wanted to seek consensus. Indigopari (talk) 19:01, 29 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not seeing where MOS:AT applies to this case – no statement in that section seems relevant, and the word "disambiguation" doesn't even appear there.
The everyday term "false alarm" is not currently ambiguous on Wikipedia. The primary topic is the only topic.
Rather it's the proper name "False Alarm" which is ambiguous, and False Alarm (disambiguation)" disambiguates the title. There is no primary topic for the proper name.
In summary, I think it's fine where it is. – wbm1058 (talk) 21:02, 29 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, I think I see what you mean. In that case, I'm going to go ahead and move the disambigs on this page for "false alarm" as opposed to "False Alarm" to an About hatnote at the top. Indigopari (talk) 01:30, 30 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
