F2004 = "Fastest car in F1 history" per Autosport's Dieter Rencken (2014)

[edit]

Respected motorsports journalist and Autosport columnist Dieter Rencken cites the F2004 as "the fastest car in F1 history" (full quote below) in one of his recent columns, following F1's inaugural 2014 pre-season test in Jerez.

"That 2014's markedly different cars proved (only) 10 seconds slower than the fastest car in F1 history (Ferrari's F2004) at first time of lapping bears testimony to the skill and commitment of thousands of engineers, yet Ecclestone publicly branded their efforts 'farcical'..."

Should we include this in the article (describe F2004 as fastest F1 car ever, citing Rencken)? I think we should. JDanek007Talk 06:33, 3 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I think it should be included. I would go one further step. For what I know the F2004 is the fastest Racing Car ever built. --Dangermouse600 (talk) 13:56, 30 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
