there are a lot of places named Fire Station No. 10 or similar[edit]

FYI, there were a lot of places named "Fire Station No. 10" or similar. Just five have been deemed individually notable for an article in Wikipedia and are mentioned in this dab. But, there were hundreds of cities having more than 9 fire stations, where the 10th was named this.

See Talk:Fire Station No. 10/Proposed set index article for a list of all those which show up in a query on "Fire station 10" in the GNIS database. This was composed as a pseudo-proposal, related to discussion at wt:SIA, where some have argued that any set of same-named things is valid for a list-article in Wikipedia, no matter how non-notable and incoherent as a set they are, and no matter how non-notable are all or most of its items. Just a few limitations have been proposed. This was constructed as a counter-example, to show how bad such a list-article would be, even meeting the few limitations. Anyhow, perhaps the list is of interest to any fan club about the topic of "fire stations named number 10". :) --Doncram (talk) 18:40, 26 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
