Random page patroller is really random

[edit]

Before one decide to hastily aply or slam NPOV and FanPOV template message on newly published article, especially when this happens just moments after its appearance, one should first familiarized oneself with proper and responsible use of template messages (tagging), as well as with facts and informations concerning article and its subject by reading sources, while reading article itself (particularly if Style is more-less OK). In this case this simple and raw article was based on informations taken from official football organizations' websites (Bosnian association, both entity associations and one canton's association; also one club's, namely NK Široki Brijeg, .pdf document was used), and by using bits and pieces of information found on existing articles on the subject.

No doubt every new article requires thorough review - it should be checked and crosschecked, information should be added and/or removed, sources should be checked, some new added and some existing, if needed and possible, improved, etc. - but, to claim "NPOV" and especially "Fan point of view" on this new article, on the subject of football league, from out of the blue without message or any entry on its Talk Page, is bit of a stretch.

Are we really thinking that by placing Random Patroller userbox and icon on one's user page gives us kinda wide and unchecked array of rights and privileges? For future notice please read: Wikipedia:Responsible tagging and Wikipedia:Responsible tagging#"Resembles a fan site" (fansite), especially read subsection Wikipedia:Responsible tagging#Tag slamming --Santasa99 (talk) 18:02, 28 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
