These comments are not appropriate about Lahanada is phonetically Lahanatha. The teams you are talking about are children. You make it seem as if this is real. The Lahanada team is made up of a group of children that come back and forth from Kalamata and Athens. The school in Lahanatha has been closed for 2 year because of the lack of younger famlies. Better things to comment on are the beautiful town and how it swells in the summer when people back to visit from all over the world. These are people that left and immagrated from the 40's 50's and 60's to America, Canada,Australia and Brazil. Also many German people have made it a summer place to live as well.

The first Cretan church Panayias has been rebuilt by the the Pappa Gallos family and celebrates with a picnic every September. It also has 2 other churchs St George that has been remodeled after the larger earth quake in the 80's. St Johns and new church built at the cemetary. Coordinate error

[edit]

The coordinates need the following fixes: Finikounda (Fnikounta) is not here - it is at the south of the Western peninsula of the Peloponnese, in between Koroni and Methoni. The correct coordinates are: 36° 48′ 28.48″ N 21° 48′ 26.14″ E
