[edit]FOB Ramrod was built by US Soldiers, and supported by Canadian Artillery. 2nd BN, 2nd IN Regiment "Ramrods" built that FOB.
That is incorrect. 2-2 were the first to occupy the area, but I would not go so far as to say they built FOB Ramrod (Unless you call building a fob setting up a couple tents and c-wire). The FOB was constructed by B Company 62nd Engineer Bn. Article for Reference. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Orbweaver82 (talk • contribs) 18:29, 3 May 2011 (UTC)
Actually, the "F Troop Cowboys" were the first to take and hold the area that became FOB Ramrod. Weeks later the 2-2 flew in and the whole process began. It took the engineers quite a while to get their act together. Regardless, the "Cowboys" were first in. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.161.240.216 (talk) 22:24, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
