Series Seven[edit]

Hello to the editors that are taking care of this page. I think that it might be of help to readers to mention that the DVD cover says series six for this current run of the show. I know that it has to do with the fact that series 4 and 5 were only two episodes each and with the say that that Greenlit and Acorn Media have marketed them, but I don't quite know how to put this on the article page and I thought that I would let those of you who are doing the work give it a go. One reason that I think this may be of some importance is that having this info on the article may help prevent some newbie from moving the page to the wrong title. This is based in part on the ongoing difficulties with dealing with the numbering of the new Doctor Who series. Thanks for you time and help in the matter. Foyle in America[edit]

No actual reason is given on screen other than to intimate that it is simply a vacation after his retirement. Please be careful with this kind of post as it isn't really wikipedia talk page material since it isn't an attempt to improve the article. Other editors might delete it out of hand.
