How is the "Frisian eagle" distinguished from similar figures used elsewhere in the Holy Roman Empire? —Tamfang (talk) 05:26, 15 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Rising upper halves of eagles of fully displayed eagles may be common in other arms but the per pale division with its specific colours seems to the distinct mark of the Frisian eagle. I'll try to look this up. De728631 (talk) 14:29, 11 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
