Roy Gamero Ruiz[edit]

Please add to your list the Costarrican historian and politician Msc. Roy Gamero Ruiz. Roy Gamero born in San Jose Costa Rica the 12 of november of 1956. His parents were Daniel Gamero Mejivar (colombian writer and politician) and Nora Maria Ruiz Campos. Roy Gamero is the author of the section "Curiosidades costarricenses" into the now disappeared news paper La Prensa Libre de Costa Rica (1890-2014). This section was the first intent of traslate the academic language of university investigation into coloquial for close the regular people to interesting topics that before were only for academics. Also he wrote Social Studies and Civic Educacion books for high school. He was fluent in German (and gave classes at the Centro Cultural Aleman), in French (and gave classes at the Alianza Francesa) and in Castellano (Spanish). He was teacher and investigator at the Universidad de Costa Rica in the Department of History. He was the Adjunct of Cultura at the Embassy of Costa Rica in Washington D.C. and in Germany. He was the creator of the Diplomatic Career at the Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica that now is requirement for all Diplomatic in Costa Rica. He was prolific writer.
