No self promotion etc[edit]

I have today removed a lot of self-promotive material which was neither objective nor based on reliable sources, and which was largely extraneous and irrelevant to the topic per se, i.e. Gandhian village and its environs, as existing today. I am considering that the irrelevant changes were made in good faith, and I am requesting that no such material be added here please, thank you. Reference to edit note by User Khani above. I have today removed some material of this unreliable type, which is probably self-promotion and puffery of an unsubstantiated and unreliable nature posted by one User Mastkhankhel. I would suggest to the user and to others, if they want to post some such material, kindly dont vandalise other pages even if you are acting in innocence and a good faith ; create or make a separate page for your ancestor or relatives if they are notable enough, and add reliable references etc, so that they meet Wikipedia standards. Please see my above note, previously. I have once again removed material relating to some 'Masti Khan' etc etc, which is not borne out by any reliable or properly sourced material- the books cited in support of this fake information are both self-published by some local Tanolis of this region and they are not scholars or duly accredited experts. I would once again request that such material may not be added here please, if you are indeed keen to add some article about any relative or elders etc, then make a separate page for them using acceptable sources. Thank you. 39.54.123.131 (talk) 11:06, 7 November 2015 (UTC)Col (retd) Mumtaz Khan, Hazara, KPK, Pakistan[reply]
Hello, see my earlier notes- I have once again removed material that is fake or unreliable, based on dubious citations from non-acceptable books, about some 'Mast Khan' chap. One reference from Lethbridge's volume is also given under false pretences, it makes no mention of this Mast Khan but only talks about the Tanoli tribe nd the Nawab of Amb. I think that this sort of trickery to promote one's self is not advisable. I would strongly urge that such material shouldnt be added, only authentic reliable and acceptable sources referring to the topic per se, should be cited.
