Talk:Garbage theft
Are we really that concerned about our garbage that we won't allow the less fortunate profit from it? I would not have a problem with someone going through my recycle bin on trash day when it is on the public street and doing what I see them doing to public trash cans. I have never witnessed one of these persons making a mess from the unwanted items and I think anyone having an issue with them profiting should try living in their shoes.

Merger proposal
[edit]I propose merging Garbage theft into Dumpster diving. The Garbage Theft article is a stub and already identifies itself as a (semi-)synonym of Dumpster diving. The content is already existing or merged in a few sentences into the "Legal status" and "Dumpster diving with criminal intentions" sections. Freedomlinux (talk) 19:56, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
