Notability/primary source tags
[edit]These issues are overlapping, but the crux of the problem is that all of the currently cited sources appear to be from the US Marines (or failing that, still from US military sources). I would think that we should expect coverage independent historians to establish the subject's notability. signed, Rosguill talk 23:21, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
Really? What would you want? General Electric? Maybe a picture of the farm of 10's at Da Nang? Using the primary customer as a source of info is perfectly valid. Ask Cambodia and Laos about it's relevance. Ever hear of Arclight as well?
Seriously, man, got a problem with jarheads or something? Sounds personal. Believe me, I get it if it is, hell my wife and I have a whole collection of terrorist threats from all branches of active, reserve, and former military, national guards and coast guard too, because we sought help legally because Texastani Christians tried twice to kill my child in the womb in the third trimester FUCKING TWICE, for that shit bag Jesus (seems Jesus rewarded them and punished the victims, us) and everyone covered it up, and far worse. Paxton actually handled that, by directing the coverup. So I get personal beef, totally. Most jarheads are decent enough though. It is hard enough for me to trust ANY Christian, but I have to keep reminding myself there are good ones, they are all just beta pussies, unwilling to take their religion back from the traitors...or even grow a pair and stand up against them. They would rather see someone like my wife and I write "Texastan: A True-Life Nightmare -- or, How to Kill Unborn Third Trimester Babies for Jesus and Get Away with It (A Textbook)", full title there, coming soon. For real, and we are filing in federal court on the day of pub (bypasses all anti-doxxing laws, helpful since the attempts were State-sanctioned, literally, we are putting home addresses in the book to protect innocents from our readers, the mere idea that we would consider the safety of the perps or their families, given what they have done, is fucking ludicrous. We want Justice. Death games should be returned with death games. As long as readers don't do anything to them before we win in court, I could care less, but I want them living in the same fear for themselves and their families as we have been forced to. If they get to, we get to, Christians have no special rights in America, and when they do is called civil war time, something I actually support at this point.
The terrorist threats we have received (somewhere between 500k-2m, we stopped counting at 114,000), are going into a "best of" book that is already compiled with the ones we could find and verify, a shit-ton, a whole book, complete with home addresses. Cops (very much represented) had their chances, including CID and NCIS, but they called it "free speech", we are just publishing their free speech with full attribution, and putting up a "Nuremberg Files" type page just to keep track of public opinion. Rape/murder threats in support of killing Americans babies for Jesus in the third trimester, against what they think is an infant are very popular with us troops. They are VERY descriptive when it comes to how. That's just the tame shit.
There are good jarheads out there, I know many, hell, I've worked with many as a contractor. The bad ones are everyone's problem. And I'll be honest, some people NEED to die for the good of humanity, just wait until you read the threats, you will agree. I've been gs and contract, navy and marines, and I'll never work for them again after this shit. Blame CID and NCIS. I've even turned down a computer specialist 12-16, simply because it was in KY, and the job was actually posted for me. No fucking way are we going to live among terrorists again in such a place, do you have any idea how degenerate Kentuckian Christians are? Read their threats when we publish. Some people actually should be killed for the good of mankind. They are just as incapable of change as Malcolm X said in 1964, when he came to the same conclusion, and armed up the targets of the Christians, and their parents (as usual, the Christians targeted American children for death and violence).
My wife and I actually invite the civil war the Christians have been ranting and raving that they want for three decades now. It makes getting Justice much easier. KILL! KILL! KILL!
Our recommendation to future victims of Christians is simple: vigilantism. When the cops support the terrorism, fuck the cops, and after talking with over 2000 families, the problem is nationwide and always rural, although several entire states, cities and all fall into the same cop category. Vigilantism truly is the only solution, and our book "Texastan..." Will convince everyone, especially concerning, but most definitely not limited to, Texastan.

Dates..
[edit]What is this April '65 stuff? Iirc, GySgt Bryant and MASS-2 were ordered to Da Nang in March in the MEB. Is Chuck Miller still alive? (remember the shootout between the 10 and the rca 27 in '79 at Pt Mugu? He was the tech in charge of the 27 (love that trackball still) he'd verify). I was the 11 year old brat hanging about for the summer. The 10 was so easy to operate, but what is this "multiple target" crap, sorry, it didn't work that way on the 10. Single pulse only. The 27 had both sweep and fc, the 10 was just a standard single target fire control pulse display type. As of 1983, GySgt Bryant was the senior expert on the 10 (Chuck and him were Da Nang buddies), and iirc, Chuck had already or was about to retire as well, and, iirc he went on to UCSD to get his MSCS, iirc. (Pascal-P2?)
We put March '65 in GySgt Bryant's obit, because that's what his 214 said.
On a side note, although the 10 won the shootout bombing San Miguel against the 27, I have to say that the 27 had some neat ideas, just IMHO a crap computer, but one of those features, iirc, was a standard 9-track or 7-track, dunno if it was for program load, or what, but I'd like to think it could record sorties. Interestingly, this may be the only mention of the an/tpq-27 on Wikipedia. Chuck Miller can verify it's existence, his name is in the logbooks. I guess the 10 beating it in the shootout convinced nobody to buy the 27?
Also, was there an USAF version of the 10 with a different block/rev suffix? I seem to recall GySgt Bryant mentioning this, or was that something tried and rejected? I seem to recall commentary concerning it being technically inferior to the USMC version, but forget the details.
And for those who knew GySgt Bryant or were trained by him, he died as he lived, and it killed him. I wasn't there, nobody was (go figure, he had alienated everyone, especially his children), mold, probably jonesing for beer and drank a moldy oldie that killed him. Filled him with mold. He had even been told not to come back to the VFW because of his attitude problems, and severe alcoholism. Those who knew him knew him well, how could they not? 1942-2017. Still debating on if I will ever go to his grave. I skipped his funeral. Luckily, I guess, he did make it to the driveway before collapsing into a coma. Smart on his part. He would have mummified before any family went there, had he not.
F'ing trumper actually disowned me when I became a Dem CD Director in a capital city CD of a major state. I may never go to his grave, I'm afraid I may desecrate it based on his actions on that and worse, and since it is a national cemetery... He was a douchebag, but he did know the TPQ-10 like nobody else in the USMC, but had he still been alive in 2021, he was on an express train to participating in Jan 6, and no doubt in my mind that he would have. I wouldn't trust the man in the bush, he'd have been shooting Americans. Maybe it's a good thing that his asvab kept him from being a grunt. Probably the only thing I thank him for, I did it out of high school, and navy basically offered me reactor dept head track, what else do you call reactors with a promise of fast track ocs to a high school student. I didn't go in, but I worked for them later at cyber in range ops, and for the Seabees, and for dfas. Gs and contract. He was at one time somewhat bright, but most of that was gone long before he retired Terrier, and tomahawk wouldn't let the drunk do shit, if you asked him. I actually believe that, and it was LONG overdue. I'm actually surprised that he actually lasted until retiring Terrier, much less beyond. Twelve pack for breakfast, home at lunch with the worst dts I've seen my life on anyone for another, and a case for dinner. I could go on, but I think my credentials are presented for people who knew him.
He served honorably, but died a traitor who hated everyone; but who didn't figure that even when he was an active Marine? (Well, maybe except the traitor part, everyone in the Corps knew about his alcohol and attitude problems).
He had his moments, but those were ancient history, even in 2017. Granted, it was cool being able to set up and get a lock on a 71 leaving Mugu, on my own initiative, at age 11. Of course, EWO probably simply said "f'ing jarheads", and switched on, and he did switch on. Interesting capabilities in the 71 in '79, you could tell immediately by what happened to the pulse and the dish. Right back to the end of runway lights.
Oh, and if the jarhead hater above thinks the Gunney isn't relevant to the topic, his relevance as a commenter has ended; who in the TPQ-10 community didn't know GySgt Bryant, seriously?
Talk shit to me, I'll tear you a new one. I am his eldest son. I will not lie for him. At least I have honor. Seriously, if your father thought it was cool that Christians tried to kill your child in the womb, in the third trimester FUCKING TWICE, on behalf of that shitbag, Jesus, with everyone covering it up and committing endless hate crimes more because Christians are above the law, would you be nice? Shit, I've invented weapons systems to kill Texastanis, and I will market them. I may look like a hippie, but those are just my friends, I live and breathe weapons systems, I find Christian asshole peace sign shit actually offensive, and why not, they do it to be Christian (offensive to the widest audience possible). Remember, the biggest douchebag of all gets to sit at the right hand of Jesus, and they are all trying to compete for the seat.
