Move article?[edit]

I propose that this article be moved to Tour of Lombardy, under Wikipedia:Naming conventions. As an English-speaking cycling fan, I can testify that I hear the race referred to much more often by the English version of the name than by the current name of the article.Jbening (talk) 03:50, 4 April 2011 (UTC)

Good call. The same thing happened with the Tour of Flanders article. Although I often see the Tour of Lombardy referred to as "Giro di Lombardia" in Anglo-Saxon press, the English version seems to have the upperhand. Under wikipedia's naming conventions, I see no reason to use the Italian name. Dr.robin (talk) 17:19, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
