Hi Nickfl,

Congratulations on starting this page. However I would like to comment about your defintion and description of dunting: this is a fault that results from thermal shock following rapid change in temperature, most commonly on coolling, and not due to body - glaze mismatch. Before editing your text I thought it only polite to enter something on the discussion pages

Oh, you will have seen that I've change clay to clay body, or just body, in the entry to better describe the material

I've done a little bit on the article, correcting that on dunting, but the crazing and shivering still needes improving, for example the description should refernce thermal expansion more than it does at presentTheriac 13:38, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
