Number one position
[edit]It's really impressive for any city to make the Top 20 of this list as every city globally is being ranked. But are London and New York City really tied for #1? I thought I read somewhere London was first, and New York City was second.

Please update the list
[edit]Please update the list because there is a new one with Luxemburg on rank 20.
Why is HK listed as an independent country
[edit]It should be listed as part of the People's Republic of China even if it is a Special Administrative Region. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.217.24.133 (talk) 01:18, 28 June 2013 (UTC)
Puzzled About One City's Attributes Here...
[edit]I have updated the list to its current form. However, I wonder, if the list is skewed in favoring certain cities over others. For example, Dublin's ranking is #60 in this list. However, it is named in the same city category as London and New York City. Call me ignorant, but what does Dublin have, in becoming a major city power equaled to London or New York City in the first place? Rockies77 (talk) 04:37, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
Dubious source and ranking
[edit]This Global Financial Centres Index is very dubious. It is sponsored by the Quatar Financial Centre Authority (not a neutral source) and the procedure of the ranking is unknown. This is good enough for a newspaper article, but not good enough for an encyclopedic article.--MBelzer (talk) 16:57, 2 February 2015 (UTC)
Indian vandals
[edit]Undid vandalism by 175.101.8.155. He seems to have edited out San Francisco and replaced it with Mumbai, he has done this in other articles too where he seems to have a Pro India agenda. He would cite made up numbers to promote Indian. EndRacismNow2021 (talk) 17:48, 5 February 2023 (UTC)
