Removed PROD tag - explanation[edit]

I've removed the PROD tag recently added to this article, because I believe it is a useful glossary of techincal terms (and not just a list of dictionary definitions, as the PROD notice implies) and it does not contravene anything in WP:LIST. Deletion of this article should be debated at AfD. Gandalf61 14:12, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why is there no arithmetic geometry page?[edit]

There should be an arithmetic geometry page focused on introducing the subject. This could follow some of the topics in "Invitation to Arithmetic Geometry". The introduction there gives many nice examples of topics which could be discussed on an introductory page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.122.75.155 (talk) 05:02, 10 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I tell you the reason. It's simple: no one has bothered to start arithmetic geometry (currently the redirect to this page). I think this is very, ..., sad (if I may to use this dreaded expression). I myself cannot do anything about this as I have zero background in this area. -- Taku (talk)
