I don't think we should merge them...I don't see what they have to do with each other other than having similar names. Perhaps just a re-direct?

Agreed, no reason to merge everything Goldbach ever did. I've removed the tag. Algebraist 11:00, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The proof seems wrong. On the right hand side, 1/81 is subtracted twice: as a power of 3 and a power of 9. All perfect powers in more than one way are subtracted more than once on the right hand side.
