Grapevine software[edit]

I found a mention of Grapevine software for automatic categorization of knowledge and information database objects. The reference points to www.grapevine.com but that now points to a defunct telecoms company.

Does anybody know the software in question and what happenned to it. It would be good to put some info about it on the Grapevine page for those searching.

In my opinion such a topic would be insufficiently notable to justify inclusion. The company you speak of, grapeVINE Technologies, was acquired by Sun - as far as I know their technology has not emerged from Sun yet in any recognisable form, if Sun is using it at all. There is also http://grapevine.sourceforge.net/ which is currently 'shelved' according to the lead developer. Not sure if it really got anywhere in the end, possibly should be listed in the defunct section of Anonymous P2P. --fonetikli 04:23, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
