Opposition

Shouldn't we mention effective environmentalism as an emerging environmentalist branch that goes in against greenwashing ? The term is rather new, but some seem to have been coining it to describe oneself.[1][2][3] Also, it seems to be similar to the path the well known "ecomodernist movement" is following. There's a term being coined these days for the opposite as well: ecorexia. Basically, ecorexia is said to be a mental disorder which drives people to act so environmentally that it becomes a nuisance to them and their family, while not offering much environmental benefit at all. Examples are taking short or even cold showers, being a (very) strict veganist, ...[4][5][6][7]
