The first question that comes to mind is this one[edit]

HBO Pakistan? Isn't that an oxymoron? How can HBO, a cable network that prides itself on content that is uncensored by the prudish hypersensitivities of the religious sheeples, be on the air in Pakistan, where women are routinely stoned, flogged, hanged, burned and acidified for so-called "crimes" such as showing elbow cleavage in public?

What are the sex scenes from Game of Thrones like on HBO Pakistan? Do they cut them out entirely or do they blur everything but the woman's eyes? If so, how do the HBO Pakistan viewers know which female character is in the scene?

I'm sorry, but you can't equate HBO Pakistan with the HBO's of nations (ie non-theocratic nations) who've embraced the progressive truths of the 21st century.

We should at least include details on what they censor in the programs they air, because we know unequivocally that if it's on the air in a Muslim theocracy like Pakistan, it's going to be draconianly censored.Hommedepommes (talk) 03:33, 12 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
