Why is there an article on a Dutch Navy ship in Wikipedia?

[edit]

DYK?

[edit]
  • The "Zuiderkruis" is named after the Southern Cross constellation. Which is also the ship's emblem.
  • Is it is generally known as a supply ship rather than a "replenishment ship".
  • The third ship with this name was originally an American Victory ship and was built around 1944.
  • The current ship is the fourth to have this name and is expected to leave active service in 2014.
  • The "Zuiderkruis" will be replaced by a Joint Support Ship or JSS.
  • The "Zuiderkruis" is currently stationed in the Caribbean.
  • Bremerton is the home of the Navy dockyard near Seattle.
  • Women from Bremerton are referred to as "Bremelosauruses".
