Name change due to ship name change?[edit]

The name of this article should probably change; now that it is owned by Bay Ferries and as of May 19th, 2022, serving the Maine/Nova Scotia market again ( schedule ). The name of the ship is advertised as "The CAT". Tarl N. (discuss) 07:30, 30 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect reference to Bay Ferries in 2022[edit]

The vessel that Bay Ferries began operating in 2022 between Yarmouth Nova Scotia and Bar Harbor Maine is not the vessel of this article. That 2022 service is run with HST-2 Alakai, homeported Norfolk Virginia, but the service is still branded “The Cat.” 71.249.94.96 (talk) 01:49, 22 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Can you provide us with a reference? THe pictures seem to match, so if you can point us to something showing it isn't the same ship, that will make it easier. Tarl N. (discuss) 04:59, 22 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The ship in question seems to be the HST-2. The IMO and MMSI numbers in that article do indicate that particular ship is in Yarmouth at this time, as opposed to the corresponding numbers in this article. So we should probably remove the text indicating this ship was moved to Yarmouth, it does not seem to have been. But we need some references to make clearer what is going on. Tarl N. I can confrim that this vessel is in China and is not operating the Maine-Nova Scotia ferry routes. This section should be removed. It is indeed the HST-2 going by the Alakai and operated at 'The Cat'. Please let me know what references you'd need and I can provide but this section needs to be removed.
