"Haiti at the 1936 Summer Olympics" ??

This text states, there was no team of Haiti at the 1936 Summer Olympics, and of course there is no list "Haiti at the 1936 Summer Olympics". But what then is depicted on the photo at the right??? Wikimedia commons states "This a photo of Haitian athlete, Rene Ambroise, at the 1936 Olympics in Berlin. He competed in the weightlifting event." Something doesn't fit here... !! What I managed to find out, I collected in a new article Haiti at the 1936 Summer Olympics. Nevertheless, I didn't find a reason why Rene Ambroise in the end apparently did not compete in the weightlifting event, though he clearly was on place. ThomasPusch (talk) 09:48, 3 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
