Progress

[edit]

From now on post new information in the new occurances section and then later sort it into the actual article. Xenocide321 23:38, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

So I've been to the halo3.com website and Episode5 is "unlocked" but isn't accessible so I'm gonna put that in the article. what's the deal? | ilikefox34 17:01, 17 August 2007 (UTC) Ok i've FINALLY been able to go to Episode 5 via the link provided here. Wikification

[edit]

Do you think that we can link to the wikiquotes page in the article more? What im thinking is that every time we say they said this or that there was a message here, we can link to the correct spot in the wikiquotes, once everything is added. Is this viable and/or even the correct usage? Will anyone get twisted because we are linking within the article to another wiki source and not instead to the actual website where it can be seen.?Mithmaleki 13:25, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wiki Quotes + Notability

[edit]

I think to really get started in cleaning this up, someone needs to make a wikiquotes article to put all the things the AI post. This will decrease the size the article and allow for better summarizing of the events. Plus we need to get more independent sources. There are several electronic blogs writing about the ARG including the well-known Unifiction but I think that there must have been some other media on atleast the SOTA protests. With a quick glace I found Eurogamer, xbox360 fanboy, destructoid, and mtv games all refrence the ARG. Whenever someone gets rid of all the adjuntantreflex stuff, then we can ditch all those links and add ones with actual significance to the game IE, Bungie, SOTA website, The counter, halo3.com, and maybe even the comic through circuit city. I took the phone conversations and one of AdjuntantReflex's messages to wikiquote. This isnt the place for day to day info and constant updating on trivial information is about as good as vandalism. If you want compress things down to become more of a summary and have it point to wikiquote but copying and pasting from the "Halo" wiki is unnacceptable. If there are more conversations or posts from AdjuntantReflex. DO NOT COPY AND PASTE THEM HERE. take the time to add them to wikiquote and update the wiki page appropriately. Mithmaleki, you have to understand that the halo wiki is not work safe. It gets blocked by firewalls. The need for new information on the actual wiki article is necessary for it to continue to grow, therefore i advocate the copy and paste from the wikibruce article to the recent events section as long as within one week the 'event' is summarized and woven into the article. Thus the need for dating the material on the recent events area. Xenocide321 20:06, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
My old post is from a couple weeks ago and since you added the new section at the bottom, I think that we have struck a good balance in this article. As long as people add an acceptable amount of information at the bottom when they add it then it is ok to sit there until that particular event can be deciphered and assimilated. (Information such as date and if at all possible as many refrences as possible too.Mithmaleki 20:53, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Picture

[edit]

I think we need a few more pictures. Do you think that someone could put one up for the header of the article and possibly one for the S.O.T.A people.Mithmaleki 20:53, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ring Central

[edit]

I just happened upon the Ring Central number as I looked over the cover of the new Wired. I didn't go into any detail in the article as I haven't found *anything* about it online. If you call the number, you can hear additional faint voices, though I have no idea what they say. When this starts popping up on other websites (so as not to violate NOR, the Ring Central stuff should be expanded. :) -Porlob 04:04, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Halo3 iris servers.png

[edit]

Image:Halo3 iris servers.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
