I am a certified car electrician and my hobby is car customizing. I am into the car scene for more than 25 years already and I follow all the latest trends and news in this field. I was surprised that the information about halo headlights was not available on the Wikipedia because this is a very popular term among other car enthusiasts in all English speaking countries.

Many people who are new to the automotive world are looking for the definition of this term, but for now this information may only be found inside of automotive community magazines, blogs and forums.

Here is a couple of sources in US automotive press that prove the popularity and importance of the term "halo headlights":

Halo headlights is a popular item that is used in car customizing today, just like it was with spoilers and body kits a decade ago (please note that there are pages on Wikipedia that are dedicated to spoilers and body kits).

There is also a page dedicated to automotive headlights on Wiki, but nothing is mentioned about halo headlight type there.

I have added a brief definition of halo headlights to the main article Automotive headlights, and enclosed the rest of important facts related to this term in the article "halo headlights" in order to not overload the original page with the content.

Thank you!

How can we link the German article here? I'm not yet up to speed on the Sitelinks system. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standlichtringe
