Harold Jones (rugby)/Harold Jones (rugby league)[edit]

Although I've nothing to link Harold "Hal" James Jones, and Harold Jones as the same person, they did play in a similar era, and if he left Wigan in 1933, and went to Keighley, he could have won caps for Wales (RL) in 1935…36 as he'd have only been 28…29. He was a Lock in his union days, a second-row in his Wigan days, so it's not implausible that he could have played Prop, Hooker, or Second-Row for Wales (RL) after this. The fact that died in Batley, a rugby league town, rather than Wales, could also indicate that he moved to Yorkshire from Wigan to play rugby league. I'd welcome any information you might have.
