Potential for article expansion

[edit]

Is this article expandable beyond providing links to other articles? Can it grow to include an overview of the Texas healthcare system? I would be willing to contribute to this. Khanzar (talk) 17:44, 10 September 2015 (UTC)Khanzar[reply]

Greetings! In the spirit of full transparency, this account is run by a Texas Oncology staff member. My goal is to provide accurate information and links to sources that may help answer questions. I will not be making any direct edits to any Wikipedia page through this or any other account. I have not had success with communicating with the editor for Texas Oncology's Wikipedia page and I'm hoping to provide the most accurate and updated information as possible. Can someone managing this Talk Page please lend a hand with our suggestions. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

Dear editor: We would like to recommend changes to the number of physicians which have increased (375+), as well as changes to practice locations (New Mexico should be removed, more than 150 total sites of service). Changes currently found under About TXO, History and Locations.

Dear editor: We would also like to offer additional sources that show expanded “Specialty Programs and Related Practices at Texas Oncology”:

Additions include: Orthopedic oncology (sources: http://www.kvue.com/news/An-ankle-becomes-a-knee-joint-in-facinating-procedure-helping-kids-with-bone-cancer--233090991.html) Neurologic oncology (source: http://www.statesman.com/news/news/local/report-12-percent-leave-austin-for-cancer-care/nWzpW/) Oncology surgery (sources:, http://www.texasoncology.com/doctors/Martin_Koonsman/, http://health.usnews.com/doctors/martin-koonsman-389564)

Dear editor: Additionally, the number of FDA-approved drugs has changes from 43 to 50.
