"Considering the setting of the novel, some critics have also pointed out a potential verbal pun in the novel's title, since in a standard British accent "symmetry" and "cemetery" are almost homophonous"

Cobblers. South African, New Zealand and some Australian accents. Not British. Sorry, Briddish. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.72.205.19 (talk) 18:13, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Length of synopsis

[edit]

A synopsis ought to be a short summary of the book in question, and I feel as though this synopsis may be too lengthy. Perhaps it should be shortened? --Delta1989 (talk/contributions) 19:39, 8 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed; it unbalances the article which should have more than just a synopsis section. Straw Cat (talk) 19:02, 12 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Horror novel? No.

[edit]

How is this a "horror novel"? Where is the horror? The murder of the poor Little Kitten of Death is about as horror as it gets – by which I mean not at all. Isn't there a category of ghost story ... rather gentle ghost fantasy ... something? Horror, it are not. DBaK (talk) 16:50, 18 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
