"capital of the empire"?[edit]

Pepin and Charles being based in Herstal didn't make it the capital! Wasn't the capital Reims? And it was a regnum (kingdom) not an empire. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.5.224.13 (talk) 07:17, 31 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
