French "feuille"[edit]

Would the French "feuille" [fœj], meaning leaf, be a hexagraph due to the "euille" part? Or would it be two trigraphs? Steel Wool Killer (talk) 00:59, 23 March 2013 (UTC)

Eu [œ] is a digraph, and ill [j] a trigraph. The final e muet is the feminine suffix. — kwami (talk) 07:56, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
