Untitled[edit]

"Travis County Attorney Ken Oden's personal interpretation of nudity laws" This statement does not sound objective. I believe The County Attorney's interpretation was a professional decision as the County Attorney not a personal decision.

Also, this article's category includes "Parks in Austin, Texas". This park is not within the city limits of the City of Austin (actually it is not within any city limits.)

MacGregor Park

Isn't Hippie Hollow a part of MacGregor Park, but not the entirety of it? Ario 08:01, 14 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Wasn't there an incident with a pleasure boat a while back (overcurious sightseers making it tip over)?

There was an "incident" a while back, but like usual the media got it wrong. There was a party boat (with about 50 people if I remember correctly) that had been tied up against the rocky shore for about 2 hours that turn over. The media reported that this boat turn over as it approached the shore when eveyone rushed to one side to see the people on shore.

It was/is McGregor Park (not MacGregor). Both McGregor and Hippie Hollow refer to the same site. Most current references and signage by Travis County use the Hippie Hollow name. The incident with the party barge was in May 2004.

Mark Weaver protests[edit]
