Per "Hit Man" being in the public domain, there was an hour long show on A&E that covered the murder and when discussing the court case it did mention that Paladin gave up their copyright to the book. It has aired numerous times (I've seen it atleast 3 times), but without an exact quote or other source to prove this (will search later) I will resist editing the page.

The A&E show was called "Blueprint for a Murder", if anyone can get a hold of it (or another source) and confirm the public domain dispute it would be appreciated.

I wrote to Paladin Press about the copyrights of this book and here is what they said: "Thank you for your e-mail. The copyrights are held by the author at this time – this book is not in the public domain." --Eric Ashford 23:29, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

what the heck do you have with the florida houswife? you don't have any evidence. if you want to state it, give the name of this"florida housewife" instead of YOUR opinion. did you actually READ the book? I don't think so. by the way, it doesn't take things out of tom clancy. at the time of writing there was only on clancy novel "the hunt for red october" which is not about hitman but about friggin submarines. the author takes some valuable notes out of The Day Of The Jackal and From Russia, With Love, not tom clancy.

Yes, I did read the book. And anyone who knows anything about this would know that it was not written by Rex Feral, but it was written by a Florida housewife. Do some research and I guarantee you will find this to be true. And I said "some say" the information was taken from Tom Clancy, I did not state that as a fact. Please read the article before you criticize. --Eric Ashford 21:55, 5 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

do you perhaps now the name of this "florida housewife"? i doubt it. don't you think it was made up to prevent people from following the instuctions in the book?
